Allie is an awesome combination of energetic & snuggly. She loves people and she really enjoys playtime with her Labrador foster sister and German Shorthaired Pointer foster brother. Allie spends her days in the backyard switching off between playing chase with her foster brother and playing tug-of-war with her foster sister, then, when her foster Mom & Dad come home from work Allie is ready to enjoy the comforts of the indoor life (this little darling is crate-trained & house-trained)!
Allie is happy to go for an after-work run (she makes an excellent running buddy!) or walk, but she also seems to be quite happy to come inside in the evenings and snuggle with her people. Allie LOVES affection from people - and she's not shy about telling you how much she would enjoy it if you were to pet her or let her climb in your lap and take a nap (at 40lbs, she's pushing the boundary of "lap-dog" status, but she doesn't seem to realize that at all).Allie is approximately 2 years old and has the energy of a young dog. Like all young dogs she needs regular exercise in order to be happy and healthy. Allie is very friendly with other dogs and would make an excellent companion to a household that already has a dog - in fact, Allie is such an excellent playmate to her GSP foster brother & Lab sister that all 3 pups are nice and tired by the end of the day from playing with each other in the backyard!! Allie's foster Mom & Dad don't mind taking the dogs for a run/walk in the evenings, but it has been so nice to have Allie around to tire everyone out for us before we even come home! :) This little gal is full of smiles, affection, energy and love for life!
